Summer Solstice Retreat at West Lexham
Friday 18 – Sunday 21 June 2027
Welcome the Summer on this 4-day immersion in wonder, rest and spacious reflection on ancient, restorative land.
“Paying attention is a form of reciprocity with the living world.”
~ Robin Wall Kimmerer
This four‑day retreat is an invitation to welcome the summer with clarity, ease and renewed vitality. Through nourishing practices, rest, reflection and shared experience, we’ll reconnect with what matters and allow the gentle energies of the solstice to support your own unfolding.
Held by community and the healing atmosphere of West Lexham, you’re invited to slow down, breathe deeply and move in rhythm with the living world.
This Special Location
West Lexham in Norfolk is a place of healing, shaped by ancient land and its natural energies. The name Lexham, meaning “place of the healer” in Old English, reflects a long held connection to restoration and renewal.
Surrounded by woodland, water and open skies, the valley offers a setting that naturally supports rest, reflection and personal transformation. The land holds a quiet wisdom — inviting you to slow down, reconnect and remember what’s important.
Our Retreat Home
On either side, the hall opens directly onto a private lawn and a peaceful courtyard — places to step out between sessions for fresh air, or to move our practice outdoors when the weather allows.
Accommodation is provided in nearby Hall Cottage and Arch Cottage. Each room is shaped with a sense of warmth, colour and natural texture, reflecting the surrounding landscape and creating a space that feels both comfortable and grounded.

‘Yoga gives us peace and clarity in order to see the beauty and wonder that is all around us’
Louise Neicho
Having spent the first 20 years of my professional life working in and with Nature I feel a deep connection to the natural world that has promoted numerous benefits in my life. Combining this with a love and appreciation of yoga and mindfulness that spans over two decades has enabled me to share practices that help us connect more deeply with Nature and ourselves. I have completed over 1000hrs of yoga and mindfulness teacher training and in 2023 I received a distinction for my master’s degree in Mindfulness where my thesis focused on the wellbeing benefits of connecting with Nature. I can honestly say that yoga and Nature has saved my life on more than one occasion, and I don’t think I would be the person I am today if it wasn’t for my practice. To bring all of this together is simply a dream come true and I hope you will join me and our like-minded community soon.
