I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was magical from start to finish. I lost complete track of time - we managed to do such a lot and yet it felt a spacious and unhurried day. It was lovely to be able to connect with nature in an inquisitive childlike manner through drawing, collecting treasures and crafty activities. I absolutely loved it - at several points it felt quite emotional listening to all the birdsong and recognising our place within nature particularly with all nature is dealing with at the moment 💔. The retreats are always balanced with the right amount of everything. For me the added walk in nature is one of my favourite parts and I really look forward to it! There's something about allowing yourself to attend a day long retreat that makes it different. Finding time for short practices in the week around work/life can feel pressured, but a whole day seems easier to find and dedicate.
