Words from my clients

I feel like I’ve given both my mind and body a week’s holiday! It was such bliss to have a whole day just for me, to slow down and nourish myself away from the frenzied pace of life. I was expecting the sense of physical well-being but was really pleasantly surprised how beneficial I found it for my mental well-being too.

What a truly relaxing and restorative day. I feel like a different person than the one who walked into the studio this morning. Louise blends yoga, tai chi, pranayama, sound therapy and connection with nature in such a beautiful way. My support dog, Parsley, who has been to a few retreat days with me now, is always so blissed out, too. Oh, and not to forget the delicious and healthy lunch by the wonderful Indira. These Sundays are highlights in my calendar which I always look forward to. Thank you, Louise.

It was so good to welcome the new year together and to focus on our intentions through connection to the heart space. All the elements of the day blended so well to create a feeling of calm reflection. I really appreciated the experience of puja, the acceptance and commitment mindfulness exercise, and the sound bath, which was deeply soothing. Also, can’t forget to mention Indira’s amazing food! Above all, it is sharing with others that makes it so special.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was magical from start to finish. I lost complete track of time - we managed to do such a lot and yet it felt a spacious and unhurried day. It was lovely to be able to connect with nature in an inquisitive childlike manner through drawing, collecting treasures and crafty activities. The yoga and meditation sessions felt very nourishing and rejuvenating. I felt very lucky to be able to spend this special day with a lovely, like-minded group of people. I left feeling re-energised and at peace with myself.

I have to say a million thank you’s for another wonderful day with you - each time I come to a retreat I love it just a little bit more - I really needed this time out for myself today. Many many thanks you are truly amazing. Thank Indira also for the incredible delicious food. Can’t wait for the next one!

I absolutely loved it - at several points it felt quite emotional listening to all the birdsong and recognising our place within nature particularly with all nature is dealing with at the moment 💔. It was lovely to share the Solstice with other quiet souls and I slept wonderfully, dreamless restorative sleep straight through until my alarm woke me which is a rarity 🙂

The retreats are always balanced with the right amount of everything. For me the added walk in nature is one of my favourite parts and I really look forward to it! There's something about allowing yourself to attend a day long retreat that makes it different. Finding time for short practices in the week around work/life can feel pressured, but a whole day seems easier to find and dedicate.
